Fears & Phobias

A Fear makes a person feel anxious, nervous, worried, or apprehensive about a person, animal, situation or something.  Causing the person to become fearful and frightened of – e.g a fear of flying.

A Phobia is an intense and unreasoning fear or dislike.  Which means that person would not entertain the idea.  Even the idea of flying would overwhelm them because of the terror it causes in their mind.

Panic Anxiety Stress Disorder

I feel this is misnamed.  It should be Stress Anxiety Panic Disorder.  It is a chronic ongoing stress which in turn causes the anxiety.  Eventually these two factors can cause a panic attack making the world of “what if’s” real.  This creates a larger uncontrollable problem which in turn the person focuses on.

Again the root cause must be identified and all negative emotions connected to it must be dealt with to resolve it.

Performance Anxiety

Public speaking falls under this heading along with test anxiety. All of this can be directly connected to the fear of failure.

We need to find out where this fear originates from and introduce a formula for success.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

Post meaning in the past, traumatic an emotional shock, injury or wound. Stress helps accentuate and put emphasis on the emotional trauma.

Again we must identify and isolate all negative emotions attached to the trauma.

All of this is more than possible.  As this is resolved feelings of self worth and self esteem return 10 fold.

Self Esteem, Self Worth, Self Confidence

The cause of low esteem, self worth and self confidence comes from a wide variety of areas in a persons’ life.  Most common causes come from different forms of mental or physical abuse over a prolonged period of time.  The forms could be family, a family member, someone at school, an employer, co-worker, husband or wife etc.

This is where I have to undo what has been done, one negative belief system after another.  Its like looking at a spiders web only instead of going after the spider the web must be demolished. As this happens the spiders strength diminishes.

Stress

Stress is created from how we react to what is happening around us and to us.  It could come from work, co-workers, relationships, family, belief systems, our environment and situations we find ourselves in.

Stress makes us react emotionally and in turn we make emotional decisions based on a negative thought. Which in turn can take us into the world of what I call “what if’s”.   Leaving the person feeling over whelmed, frustrated and confused.  Which in turn attacks our feelings of self worth.

To eliminate the stress and cause we must first identify the negative emotion or emotions causing the stress and then isolate the cause.  We can now deal with it on a logical level.

Weight Control

Weight control is all about you controlling the food, not the food controlling you. A breakdown of belief systems around food needs to be broken down.  Emotions connected to the reasons why you eat the way you eat need to be looked at.  Body image, low self esteem, self worth, motivation and self sabotage all need to be addressed.
